Shaping an attitude of understanding and tolerance towards different cultures, customs and beliefs included in the canon of civilization values and developing attitudes of tolerance and eliminating xenophobic attitudes. The most important skills acquired by students participating in the African Literacy Olympiad include: greater awareness of the existence of other cultures (languages, customs, traditions and belief systems), openness, tolerance, respect for cultural differences, understanding and flexibility. Students will become aware of the value of their own culture and its impact on other cultures, and at the same time they will learn to appreciate cultural diversity and become more open and interested in diversity.”
