Urszula Skupio (https://x.com/USkupio?s=20https://x.com/USkupio?s=20https://x.com/USkupio?s=20https://x.com/USkupio?s=20) is a post-doctoral researcher in a field of neuroscience at Columbia University. She graduated from psychology (Jagiellonian University) and worked as a neuroscientist in Kraków (Department of Molecular Neuropharmacology, Maj Institute of Pharmacology, Polish Academy of Sciences) Bordeaux and New York (Postdoc in Neural Circuits Lab @circuits_lab). 💯

She conducted research on anxiety-like behavior in mice, reward system in the brain, stress and memory.

HL Psychology students had a chance to talk to her about work in the field of animal research, ethical standards, real-life applications of her studies and the publishing process of the research.
