As part of the World Water Day celebrations at the MYP building, a lot has been happening in Grades 5-8! We started with a survey to check students’ understanding of water-related issues. The results? A solid foundation – but we know we can do even more!
The school corridors came alive with thematic displays, helping students explore the importance of water and how everyday choices can impact our planet.
We also used educational materials from PAH, which supported students in gaining a deeper understanding of global challenges related to water access and conservation.
There was no shortage of excitement! Students took part in a water quiz, testing their knowledge while learning through fun.
And that’s not all! A board game is currently being created thanks to the involvement and dedication of our school volunteer group – it will soon make time spent in the library even more enjoyable while reinforcing key concepts in a creative way.
Thank you to everyone involved – and next year, we’re coming back even stronger!
