What does the PYP look like in action?

Inspired by ethics classes on volunteering, third-grade students decided to set up a stand for passersby. In exchange for homemade lemonade, tea, and baked cookies, they organized a fundraiser for animals from a shelter

During the preparations, they demonstrated strong self-management skills: they planned tasks, divided responsibilities, conducted trial tastings, created posters, painted crates, and more.

Thanks to the open-mindedness of our students, their perseverance, and the logistical support of their parents, the idea became a reality.

One Saturday, for several hours, the girls were inviting local residents to enjoy lemonade and ultimately raised over 400 PLN, which they used to buy food for the animals and deliver it to the shelter.

We are extremely proud of this initiative and congratulate everyone involved in making it happen!
