The whole second day of our international historical conference was spent on sharing knowledge – in many diverse ways. When we all arrived at our school’s theatre at Rejtana Street, the time had come for the official welcome.

The conference was opened by our Vice Principal Michał Kozień and the conference’s coordinator, Zbigniew Strucki. Our colleague from the school in Banská Bystrica read aloud the letter we had the honour of receiving from the Honorary Consul of Slovakia in Cracow, Ms. Paulina Šperková.

This was followed by five fascinating presentations prepared by the delegations from the schools we were hosting: 2SLO from Warsaw, American School of Milan, Italy, Klaipėdos licėjus from Klaipėda, Lithuania, Gymnázium Andreja Sládkoviča from Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. And, of course, our great historians from Open Future International High School. All of the presentations were about interwar dictatorships.

The second part of the day was spent on a walk through Cracow. The guiding was done by our guests – and they did a wonderful job!
