On March 27th, four students from our high school – Iga, Mariia, Natalia, and Zixuan – participated in the preliminary rounds of the 70th National Recitation Contest held at the A. Bursa Municipal Cultural Center in Krakow.
They brilliantly presented their interpretations in two categories: recitation and “drawn from the word,” showcasing fascinating works by renowned Polish writers including Tadeusz Różewicz, Dorota Masłowska, Wisława Szymborska, Kamila Janiak, Marcin Szczygielski, Olga Tokarczuk, and Halina Poświatowska.
At Open Future, we strongly believe in promoting students’ artistic endeavors as they contribute to their rich and multifaceted development. Through such activities, our students enhance their communication skills, become more open-minded, empathetic, inquisitive, and reflective, and learn to embrace taking risks.
Our students gained invaluable experience facing their nerves and testing their abilities before an audience and jury. They also had the opportunity to watch other talented participants. Their own experiences and the feedback received from the committee sparked deep reflections and inspired them for further self-development.
A huge congratulations to all four of our students for their wonderful performances!
We are also thrilled to announce that Iga has qualified for the regional stage of the competition! We’re keeping our fingers crossed for her! ![]()
