Our high school delegations to “Loudoun International Summit-Bringing the World to Loudoun County 2024 “ took part in the Opening Ceremony at Lightridge High School, USA.

Our High schoolers were proudly presenting the profile of our school & Poland to international audience.

Over 90 participants from 20 countries, could listen to the keynote Speaker Mr Carl Wilkins, who built strong connections with neighbors and colleagues in the years before the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. These bonds played a pivotal role in his decisions for Carl to remain in Rwanda during the genocide.

Today, Carl draws inspiration from Rwanda, efforts in reconciliation after the genocide. He initiates discussion that encourage us to embrace curiosity and approach the world from different perspectives, as outlined in his work “World Outside My Shoes”.

There is also a message to every student & every community that we all #individuals make / can make the #difference for one another; especially at the times of trial.

Besides, #Cross-cultural learning with local students through a home stay experience and activities with classes at the participating high school, delegates and local students alike, let our students to be engaged in immersive cross-cultural learning.
