In the course of our unit of inquiry, namely Orientation in Space and Time, we tried to prove the fact that the patterns of evolution may be observed throughout the development of humankind. Students had an opportunity to develop their critical thinking, research and communication skills. We were developing the learner profile attribute of knowledgeable. Their summative assessment task was to prepare a presentation on a chosen evolution and deliver it to the audience during a parent-student conference and for the members of MYP and PYP community.
