Congratulations to all Grade 12s / Diploma Programme Year 2 Students across the globe for completing more than three weeks of IB exams. Well done!

In our school, we have just started the diagnostic tests for 10th Graders and mock exams for 11th Graders / Diploma Programme Year 1.

Why is it important to have such mock tests organised?

– it teaches our students that a learning process and building knowledge must go along with an exam strategy

– Mock exams provide our students with a possibility to practice allocating time effectively while working on various tasks

– Testing knowledge is also a way to see how much knowledge our students have gained over the course of the syllabus;

– for 2nd high school graders (10th graders) – it is a good piece of information before choosing the courses in Diploma Programme;

– for 3rd high school graders (so Diploma Programme Year1) it is a starting formal point to track students’ progress that is pivotal to helping them to evaluate their current standing & progress.

After the trial week, the form class teachers and DP Coordinator are going to have 3-sided reflection and individual meetings, to come up with a formative assessment & provide our students with a good feedback.
