Mint Group on the Trail of… Coal!

This week, we focused on an extraordinary natural resource – coal!

We checked how it smells, whether it is hard or soft, heavy or light. We also watched a film that showed us how coal is created deep underground.

We also wondered what people use it for – there was no shortage of ideas!

And then… we drew with real coal and conducted an experiment: can coal really filter water?

The children were delighted – learning through play is our specialty!
