First stage of our World Water Day celebrations at Open Future!

In the past week, we celebrated World Water Day at our school! This year, the celebrations extended throughout the week, engaging students across different educational levels.

Grade 4 explored the concept of “virtual water,” reflecting on why water is essential, how much “hidden” water is in everyday products, and how their choices impact global consumption.

Students also created an informational bulletin board, and the PYP library ran a challenge – collecting “water drops” for eco-tasks, learning that even small actions matter and how to become Honorary Water Protectors.

It has been an inspiring week full of awareness, engagement, and responsibility.
