History

Open Future International School was established in 2013 in Kraków in response to the growing demand for a modern educational institution that combines the Polish core curriculum with international teaching standards. From the very beginning, the school has placed strong emphasis on values, openness, and the individual development of each student.

In June 2017, the school received official authorization for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) from the International Baccalaureate (IB), becoming the first PYP IB school in the Małopolska region. In the following years, it gained authorization for the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP), allowing Open Future to offer a full IB educational pathway—from preschool to high school graduation. Today, it remains the only school in the region to provide all three IB programmes.

Open Future is more than just a curriculum—it’s also about space designed to support holistic development. The school operates in several modern locations across Kraków: Kwiecista 25 (primary school), Pawła z Krosna 10 (preschool), and Tadeusza Rejtana 2 (high school). The classrooms are bright, well-equipped, and carefully arranged to support both academic learning and creative exploration.
