In science the answer is YES!

During chemistry lessons students built their own spectroscope.

It’s a scientific instrument that is used to study the properties of light. It works by breaking light down into its different wavelengths, called a spectrum.

By looking at the specific colours that make up its spectrum, astronomers use a spectroscope to analyze the composition of stars!

Science is fascinating, isn’ it?
