In the final week of the school year, the 1st grade of the High School had an unforgettable Science Day, immersing themselves in the world of live biology! The students visited the Great Spider Exhibition, where they had the opportunity to overcome their fears of these fascinating arthropods.
It turns out that spiders are not as dangerous as they might seem – biting is a last resort for them, and in most cases, they simply flee. The bravest students even had the chance to hold a friendly tarantula named Karolinka, feel a millipede gently wrap around their hand, and safely let a scorpion sit on their arm. For true thrill-seekers, there was even a tasting of unusual delicacies – dried larvae flavored with cheese or tomato!
Who knows, maybe after returning from vacation, the 1st grade will decide to adopt a pair of Madagascar hissing cockroaches as their class pets? The decision is now in the hands of their wonderful homeroom teachers!
